The super sibling musicians released the song "200%" back in April 2014. It's cheerful, upbeat, but not overwhelming. Instead of simply singing "100% sure of that [their feelings]", they go above and beyond to say "200%" to assure their crush how much they admire them.
What I love about these two, and why I decided to write about them instead, is the fact that they were both homeschooled! Indeed! Their parents were missionaries in Mongolia, where the siblings lived for quite a while. They eventually moved back to Korea and competed in K-Pop Star 2, a competition somewhat similar to American Idol. The contestants compete to achieve their dream of signing with a music label and becoming an artist. Akdong Musician won in the end.
They've pretty much written all of their own songs! Another song I definitely recommend off their "Play" album is "Hair Part" and "Melted". "Hair Part" is a cute song about seeing one's crush with a different hairstyle and how it makes them more attractive. "Melted" takes on a more serious tone as the siblings sing about how people become cold like ice when they're older, having to face the harsh realities and struggles of the world.
Over all, "200%" is just one of the few things that showcases how extremely talented Akdong Musician is. I eagerly look forward to what else they have to offer in the future.

U-KISS are finally back with a new single: "Playground!" I'm loving those acoustics in the beginning. I'm not gonna lie, though, I had a sudden craving for ice cream as soon as I heard the first few verses. You'll see why.

Those suits at the 2:20 mark threw me off for a moment. I thought there was snow. The choreography is great, by the way. I was worried the entire video would just be shots of the members looking sad and staring off into the distance, and I almost closed the tab, but the shots of the dance routine that came later made me stay to watch the entire thing. Kevin's voice is as beautiful as ever! (Hehe, Kevin biased.)
"You never, you never, you never...."
Um. You never what, exactly? Come on! Don't leave me hanging, Soohyun! Perhaps I need to read the translated lyrics to make the connection since K-Pop songs tend to squeeze in random English to form sentences with Korean words. Now what else.... Oh right!
Handkerchiefs! Swings! Ice cream! Melting ice cream!

-Sigh- This is probably one of my favorite songs from BTS (aka Bangtan Sonyeondan, aka Bangtan Boys). I'm a sucker for songs with catchy beats and pianos playing the background.
"Just One Day" is simply beautiful. The harmonizing, the floating melodies, the dream-like feeling it gives.... It's all ear candy!

"Just One Day" is about a guy saying if he could have just one day to spend with the girl, there might be a chance. After reading the translation and being a girl myself, I find these lyrics incredibly sweet. Whenever I listen to it, I picture sunny days, walks on the beaches, and moonlit nights with twinkling stars. It just gives me butterflies!
The song is wonderfully done. The raps don't stick out like sore thumbs. Even the instrumental version is just as beautiful!
The music video is simple, but charming. I like to think they made the MV simple in order to highlight the song more. No storyline. Just shots of of the choreography and the members.
